Clinical Training

Pharmacy Training

In collaboration with the School of Pharmacy, this program addresses pharmacological issues involved in HIV therapy, related-opportunistic infection treatment and prophylaxis. The focus is to update and address topics such as efficacy, toxicities, drug interactions, multiple-drug combinations, and dosage optimization. Drug therapy is evaluated considering pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics for conventional antiretroviral agents and immune modulators. Training programs typically consider the needs of all health care professionals, in particular pharmacists.

In addition, Clinical training for these issues in the form of lectures, seminars, or workshop are available to update healthcare professionals. For information pertaining to these programs, please contact Stan Louie at or via Email at slouie.
