About the HIV/AIDS Bureau (HAB)
of the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA)

Mission:
To improve the nation's health by assuring equal access to comprehensive, culturally competent, quality HIV/AIDS care for all in need.

Goal:
100 percent access to HIV/AIDS care and 0 disparities for all Americans.

Vision:
HIV/AIDS Bureau as part of the access Agency of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, HAB assures the availability of quality HIV/AIDS care to low income, uninsured, isolated, vulnerable, and special needs populations and meets their unique health care needs.

Strategies:
To eliminate barriers to care. Eliminate health disparities. Assure quality HIV/AIDS care. Improve public HIV/AIDS health care systems.
