Zoe-Anne Fitzhugh’s professional career spans 34 years and includes 12 years of university classroom and clinical teaching and administration, and over 25 years in professional staff development and continuing education, the last 15 years in HIV education.
As the original Southern California Training Coordinator for the California Nurses Association, AIDS Education and Training Project, she participated in both the design and evaluation, and conducted Train the Trainer workshops in Southern California. As a consultant, she helped developed training programs for the Los Angeles Chapter of the American Red Cross, AIDS Project Los Angeles, Edleman Health Center, GLCSC, Center for Health Training and James Bowman and Associates, San Francisco, and the Long Beach AIDS Research and Education Project.
Since 1989 she has served as coordinator of the Southern California AETC nursing program and as a consultant and Clinical Nurse Specialist HIV and Mental Health at LAC+USC Medical Center. She now is the Member Manager, Global Vista, LLC.
Ms. Fitzhugh received her baccalaureate degree in nursing from California State University, Los Angeles, CA. and her master’s degree in Adult Psychiatric Nursing, Boston University, Boston MA. She is a Certified Clinical Nurse Specialist, State of California and Certified Health Education Specialist , National Commission for Health Education Credentialing.
